Founded by Dianna Hobbs in 2007, EEW is an award-winning online resource that reaches diverse women, primarily women of color, all around the world.

EEW Magazine Online presents the news from a Christian worldview and contextualizes the massive amount of content our readers consume. Our news commentary and opinion pieces from our small but talented editorial staff have been featured by PBS, NBC, Washington Post, Christian Post, BET, ABC, Radio One and many more. Our stories and empowering articles are distributed worldwide, and EEW has remained a trusted resource for more than a decade.

Our Greater Mission

Empowering Everyday Women (EEW) Online Magazine is much more than a digital publication. Though we are blessed to reach a wide and diverse population of Christian women, we by no means consider ourselves solely a news organization. Our online publication is just one arm of Empowering Everyday Women Ministries, Inc., a 501c3 nonprofit organization that distributes free resources worldwide and launches campaigns to help grossly under-served populations.

Our core mission is to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ and help abate human suffering. Jesus said in Mark 14:7, "The poor you will always have with you, and you can help them any time you want."
