These terms and conditions apply to your use of all sites and services owned or operated by Empowering Everyday Women Ministries, Inc. ("EEW," and collectively, "we," "us," or "our"), including eewmagazineonline.com, empoweringeverydaywomen.com, and any other site we may own or operate in the future (collectively, the "Sites").
Unless we specify otherwise, all references to the Sites in these terms and conditions include all such sites. These terms and conditions do not apply to your use of unaffiliated sites to which any of the Sites link.
Restrictions on Use of Material
The contents of our Sites are protected by copyright and trademark laws and are the property of their respective owners. Unless we specify otherwise, you may access materials on the Sites only for your personal use. You may download one copy of posted materials on a single computer for personal, noncommercial home use only, provided you do not change or delete any author attribution, trademark, legend, or copyright notice. Downloading copyrighted material does not grant you any ownership rights in that material.
You may not modify, copy, publish, display, transmit, adapt, or in any way exploit the content of the Sites. To publish, display, or commercially exploit any material from the Sites, you must first obtain prior written consent from us and from all other entities with an interest in the relevant intellectual property. These terms and conditions apply only to the Sites and not to the sites of any other companies or organizations, including those to which any of the Sites may link. We are not responsible for the availability of any other site to which any of the Sites links. We do not endorse or take responsibility for the contents, advertising, products, or other materials made available through any other site.
Under no circumstances will we be held responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for any loss or damage caused or alleged to have been caused in connection with your use of, or reliance on, any content, goods, or services available on any other site. Please direct any concerns to that site's administrator or webmaster. Other sites may link to any of the Sites through a plain-text link. We reserve the right to rescind any permission to link and to require termination of any such link to any of the Sites, at our sole discretion and at any time.
Submissions
The Sites contain areas through which you may submit materials to us (collectively, "Submissions"). Submissions may include articles, reviews, stories, recipes, interviews, photographs, and similar content. We do not claim ownership of your Submissions. However, by making a Submission, you:
(a) grant to us and our affiliates, representatives, and assigns an irrevocable, perpetual, non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, transferable license (with the right to sublicense through multiple tiers) to use, reproduce, prepare derivative works of, distribute, adapt, publish, translate, publicly display, transmit, or otherwise dispose of your Submission (in whole or in part, alone or together with other materials) in any format or medium now known or later developed, including for advertising and promotional purposes;
(b) warrant that you have the right to grant the foregoing rights to us;
(c) agree that we have no obligation to compensate you for your Submissions or to exercise any of the foregoing rights, and that any such exercise shall be in our sole and absolute discretion;
(d) warrant that your Submission does not contain material that is abusive, vulgar, threatening, harassing, libelous, defamatory, or obscene, that invades a person's privacy, that violates any intellectual property rights, or that violates any law;
(e) warrant that your Submission does not solicit funds or advertise or solicit goods or services;
(f) agree that we may identify and credit you as the author of your Submissions and use your name and pertinent biographical data in connection therewith; and
(g) agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any and all loss, damage, and/or expense (including reasonable attorneys' fees) that we may suffer arising from our exercise of the foregoing rights, or from the breach or alleged breach of any of the foregoing warranties.
We retain the right to reject or modify Submissions that we, in our sole and absolute discretion, consider unacceptable. Whether or not we reject or modify a Submission, you remain solely responsible for its content. If we highlight any particular Submission on the Sites or in promotional materials, that action is not intended as, and should not be deemed to be, an endorsement of that Submission.
Copyright Infringement
We respect the intellectual property rights of others. Accordingly, we maintain a policy of removing Submissions that violate copyright law, suspending access to the Sites (or any portion thereof) for any user who uses the Sites in violation of copyright law, and terminating, where appropriate, the account of any such user. Pursuant to Title 17 of the United States Code, Section 512, we have implemented procedures for receiving written notification of claimed copyright infringement and for processing such claims in accordance with that law.

WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. NEITHER WE NOR ANY OF OUR RESPECTIVE LICENSORS OR SUPPLIERS WARRANT THAT FUNCTIONS CONTAINED IN THE SITES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE, THAT DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED, OR THAT THE SITES OR THE SERVERS THAT MAKE THEM AVAILABLE ARE FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

No Personal Advice

Parental Permission
The Sites are not directed to children under the age of 13, and we will not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of 13. We strongly recommend that parents participate in their children's online activities and use browser parental controls to limit the areas of the internet to which their children have access.
We may, at our discretion, require users under the age of 18 to obtain the consent of a parent or guardian to view certain content, and we may limit access to certain content to users above a specified age. You agree to abide by any such restrictions and not to help anyone avoid them.
Fees and Changes to Services
We reserve the right to charge fees, surcharges, and/or membership fees for any services currently provided at no cost, upon thirty (30) days' prior written notice. We also reserve the right to modify or discontinue any Site or portion thereof, with or without notice.
