Your heart races as you face an overwhelming day. Work, family, endless worries. Sound familiar?
Anxiety can feel suffocating, but as a Christian woman, you are not alone. God offers true peace through faith, and there is no shame in seeking professional help along the way.
When we blend faith with practical tools, we create a beautiful, holistic path to healing.
Here are EEW Magazine Online’s five steps to help you find peace in anxiety through Christ’s strength.
1. Pray with Intention
Carve out 10 minutes daily to surrender your worries to God.
If you’re super busy, that’s OK. Find calm by praying Psalm 23 each morning. Bring your cares to the Lord and invite His peace to guard your heart (Philippians 4:6–7).
2. Meditate on Scripture
Write Psalm 55:22—“Cast your cares on the Lord and he will sustain you”—on a note card. Keep it close.
When anxiety flares, pause and read it aloud.
Let God’s promises anchor you.
3. Practice Deep Breathing
Inhale for 4 seconds, exhale for 4, and whisper, “Jesus, You are my peace.”
This simple, calming rhythm connects body and spirit, inviting God’s presence into your anxious moments.
4. Seek Professional Support
In some faith communities, therapy a medication is still misunderstood. But there’s no shame in seeking help.
God works through Christian counselors and licensed professionals to bring clarity and healing. Many have discovered new strength through counseling.
5. Build Sisterhood
You don’t have to carry this alone. Sharing your struggles in a trusted, supportive group lightens the load (Galatians 6:2).
Community care and professional support make a powerful pair. Consider joining EEW’s online faith community for connection and encouragement.
