There is a champion in you because Christ is in you says 20-year-old gospel singer and author Jekalyn Carr.

In her new book, You Will Win: Inspirational Strategies to Help You Overcome, the internationally-renowned young evangelist encourages you to shake off passivity and go after your dreams, by activating your winning thoughts.

“The only difference between people who receive credit for their inventions and other people that do not, is that the individuals who receive credit pursue their thoughts,” she writes in You Will Win.

According to Carr, if a person fails to tap into their can-do mentality, they will not achieve what God has set out for them to do.

Why?

Because they won’t make a move.

Only those that are willing to take the leap of faith will be productive.

“God doesn’t give one person an idea,” she writes. “We are all created in the image of God. So His ideas will proceed to the next person to birth them if one doesn’t act on the visions and be persistent in bringing them into existence.”

If one person refuses to faithfully take steps to fulfill the dream or vision God has birthed in their heart, the “You Will Win” vocalist says, “I believe, as I stated before, that God will raise up someone in their stead to bless His people.”

In a Facebook Live chat, the Stellar Award-winning vocalist told her followers, “It doesn’t do you any good to hold those thoughts on the inside of you. Remember, our minds are miracles that God has given us to produce and create even more miracles.”

Proverbs 8:12 KJV says, “I wisdom dwell with prudence, and find out knowledge of witty inventions.” Those witty inventions, which are what Carr is aiming to get believers to share with the world, are for the benefit of others.

“So that’s why it is important that you release those miracles out of your mind,” she said.
