Christian New Jersey Democratic Sen. Cory Booker first announced 2020 bid at his home church

Cory Booker, who has been called “the most overtly Christian Democratic presidential candidate since Jesse Jackson and perhaps even Jimmy Carter,” announced his plans to run for president at his home church.
