As we welcome June and prepare to embrace the warm days of summer, we savor the slower pace of life, enjoying the vibrant bloom of flowers and the joyful sounds of children at play.

We find joy in outings, sunlit days, and mild nights, as stars dance across the midnight sky. Summer represents a season of warmth, growth, and abundance.

It is a time of vitality and energy, with long days filled with sunlight and nature in full bloom.

For many, summer brings relaxation, vacations, and outdoor activities, providing a welcome break from the routines of daily life.

Spiritually, it is a time to reflect on and celebrate the blessings and beauty of God's creation.

Might I offer five suggestions for how to spend the mild mornings, peaceful afternoons, and serene evenings—in no particular order:

Write a gratitude journal: Find reasons to give thanks daily, fostering a heart of gratitude.

Take long, leisurely strolls: Immerse yourself in the sights and sounds of nature, basking in appreciation for the beauty of God’s creation.

Visit loved ones: Enjoy simple pleasures together, cherishing each moment as tomorrow is promised to no one.

Show kindness to those in need: Share their pain and supplement their deficiencies, as God is pleased when we extend mercy and compassion.

Refuse participation in negativity: Avoid toxicity and divisiveness, letting the warmth of your love shine like the heat of summer days.
