Tasha Cobbs previews forthcoming album ‘Hymns’ with new single, ‘The Moment’

Grammy-winning gospel star, Tasha Cobbs Leonard, is gearing up for the release of her forthcoming Motown Gospel album Hymns, out October 7.

The musician, 41, teased the project on social media, revealing the album cover, heightening excitement for the upcoming release.

Soon, a worldwide audience will get to experience the live album recording that took place in Chicago, IL, June 30, 22, with a host of friends, family, and fans in attendance.

The new LP, which features multiple guests—Jennifer Hudson, Kierra Sheard, Natalie Grant, Mary Mary, The Walls Group, Ricky Dillard, and Donald Lawrence—consists mostly of reimagined hymns and church standards Cobbs Leonard grew up listening to. 

Ahead of the full release, Cobbs Leonard shared her new single, “The Moment,” with layered harmonies and tender vocals that swell and eventually explode into praise and worship.
