Congratulations are in order for Gospel recording artist Tamela Mann, who can be seen jumping up and down and squealing with delight in a new paid partnership video showing off her 20 pound weight loss.

According to the rightfully excited WW (formerly Weight Watchers) ambassador, who has admittedly struggled with weight all her life, the program made the double-digit drop easy as one-two-three.

“Hey everybody! I reached my first goal,” said the beaming 52-year-old while standing outdoors in the sunshine, clutching two silver balloons—a two and a zero representing the 20 pound loss.

Before the short clip ended, the singer and actress best known for her role as Cora Brown in Tyler Perry’s hit stage plays and movies, made sure to motivate viewers to embark upon their very own weight loss journeys.

“Come on. You can do it. It’s easy!” she said, wearing a form-fitting black dress. “Yay! 20 pounds!”

Seeing Mann’s big smile and bright disposition is proof positive that she made the right decision by joining the WW family. “I decided that this is the help that I needed, because I couldn’t do it my own,” she recently told ESSENCE in an interview.

In April 2019, EEW Magazine reported the “Change Me” singer had accepted her role as celebrity ambassador for WW, hoping to change herself and the lives of others who may be inspired by her journey.

“I’m getting older. I just don’t want to become a liability on my family, so I just want to make better choices,” she explained.  “I can admit to myself that I’m at a wall that I need to have some help to get through it, and it’s okay to admit that you need help.”

The Grammy-nominated vocalist is leading by example and showing folks that with lots of determination and help, transformation is truly possible.
