"Protect your peace." We hear this phrase often, but what does it really mean? And how can we put it into practice?
While there are practical ways to do it, such as logging off social media, putting your phone on "do not disturb," disengaging from frivolous activities that drain you, and being intentional about creating quiet time, it goes deeper than that.
Protecting your peace means safeguarding your spiritual, mental, and emotional well-being from the people, things, and thoughts that bring chaos, toxicity, and negativity into your life. While you can't completely avoid these assaults on your peace, there are steps you can take to minimize their impact.

#1 Maintain a Constant Connection with God
Scripture: "Pray without ceasing." (1 Thessalonians 5:17)
Constant communication with God helps keep your mind focused on His promises and away from daily stresses. By maintaining a prayerful attitude, you invite His presence into every situation, allowing His peace to guard your heart and mind.
#2 Mind What You Allow into Your Life
Scripture: "Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it." (Proverbs 4:23)
Protecting your peace starts with guarding your heart. In other words, be mindful of what you allow into your mind and spirit. Ensure that your influences align with God's truth and promote positivity and faith.
#3 Let Jesus Lighten Your Burden
